The ND programme is
designed for the production of middle level manpower in Accountancy for
the public and private sectors of the economy. Specifically, At the end of the

programme is essentially for the production of higher level manpower in
Accountancy for the public and private sectors of the economy. Specifically, at the end of the
course, participants would be able to:
Besides the Diploma programme in Accountancy, the Department has finalized arrangement to offer shortly, similar Diploma programmes in banking and Finance. |

National Diploma (ND) Programme in Accountancy Entry Requirements
The minimum qualification
for applicants for the national Diploma (ND) course is five (5) credits
at one sitting of the West African School Certificate or its equivalent,
the credits to include English Language (English Literature NOT
substitutable) and Mathematics. OR Six (6) credits in different subjects
at two sitting of the West African School Certificate or its equivalent,
the credits to include English Language (English Literature NOT
substitutable) and Mathematics. here shall be minimum of 4 credits in at
least one of the sitting.

Higher
National Diploma (HND) Programme in Accountancy
Entry Requirements
In addition to all the
requirements for admission into the ND programme, candidate for
admission into the HND programme must possess a minimum of Lower Credit
pass in the National Diploma Examination in Accountancy from Auchi
Polytechnic or any other recognized institution whose programmes are
accredited by NBTE and satisfactory completion of one year industrial
work experience.
