How to Check your Admission status.

  1. The full list of admitted candidates for the 2007/2008 academic session is available online. it is available on the Auchi Polytechnic Student information page. All prospective students are required to follow the instructions below to check their admission status.
  2. To access the online service, all prospective students are required to purchase a N500 access card available at Designated outlets. Note: All JAMB candidates should purchase the access card from the Bank or any designated center.
  3. All scratch cards have a maximum of 5 access times (a) For prelim, HNDI and Post HND application, the card may have been purchased along with the application entry form.
  4. To check your admission, it is available on the Auchi Polytechnic Student information page.
  5. Select your desired service example, click on admission.
  6. Type in your Registration Number and the card pin code and click ok or submit.

NOTE: (a) For direct entry candidates i.e. prelim, HND and Post HND students, your registration number is the application form number on the form you purchased. This is usually copied to the acknowledgement slip given to you when you submit your form. Ensure that you type this number correctly.

(b) For JAMB candidates, your registration number is the JAMB registration number on your Jamb slip. Ensure that you type this number correctly.

(c) The Card Pin Code is the number you see when you scratch off the covered area of the Access Card you purchased. Ensure that you scratch gently to avoid damaging the code and also ensure that you type this number correctly.

(d) If your name is on the current Batch of admissions, an admission slip will be displayed with your name, number and the department/course you are admitted to read. Print a copy of this form because you may need it for further acceptance and/or registration.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Admissions are released in batches. This implies that it is possible for a candidates name not to be in the current batch of admissions on display. If you have applied and your name did not appear on the current batch, you will get a message that “your name is not on current list” you will need to check again when there is news that another batch has been released.

How to Accept your Admission.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:Only candidates who have been offered Admission into the Polytechnic for the current session can use this facility.Before you can complete the online acceptance form;

(a) Ensure that you have checked your admission status and that you have printed a copy of your admission notification slip.

(b) Take the admission notification slip to the bank and ensure that you pay the Acceptance fee of N2,300 and obtain an Acceptance Access Card.

CAUTION!! If your Name is NOT on the Admission list DO NOT Attempt to Accept. Doing so will invalidate your Acceptance Card and you will have to re-purchase another one if eventually you are admitted for the current session. If you have checked and your name is on the list;

FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW

1. Open to the students online information service.

2. Click on Accept Admission.

3. Type in your Registration Number and your card Pin Code.

Note:(a) Your registration number is the same number you used to check admissions.

(b) Your Pin Number is the number you see when you scratch off the covered portion of your Acceptance Access Card.

If your Name is on the current Admission List. An Acceptance form will be displayed for you to complete. This form will already contain your Names, your Registration Number, the Course and Department you are admitted to. You will be required to fill your personal information and the Teller Number and Amount you paid.

4. Click submits to accept admission.

Note: Ensure that you supply correct information especially your payment details because any false information will incriminate you and you may loose your admission.

5. Print a copy of this Acceptance form. You will need it to pay your school fees before you register.

How to pay school fees & register.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Only candidates who have been offered Admission into the Polytechnic for the current session and have paid the acceptance fee and completed the online acceptance form can register. If you have not previously completed the acceptance procedure, click on How to Accept Admission for details. Once you have complete the online acceptance form, follow the steps below to register.

1. Consult the School Fees Table to determine the appropriate school fees applicable to you. 

2. Go to any of the Designated Banks to pay the fees appropriate to you.

3 Ensure that you purchase the Registration Access Card for N1,000 from the Bank after paying your school fees. You will require this card for subsequent online transactions.

3. Visit any Cyber Cafe' or any office where you have Internet Access, log on to Auchi Polytechnic Online information Service.

4. From the Home Page, click on Register for 2007/2008 session.

5. Type in your Registration number and your access pin code, then click continue.

Note: (a) For HND1 and PRELIM students, your registration number is the same number you used to check admissions. That is the number on the form you purchased. For JME candidates, your registration number is the same as your JAMB registration number.

(b) Your Pin Number is the number you see when you scratch off the covered portion of your Acceptance Access Card.

CAUTION!!: If you Name is NOT on the Admission list, your admission slip will not display. This means that you have not been admitted. DO NOT pay fees and attempt to Accept Admission and/or Register. You will waste your time and money by doing so. The Polytechnic is not liable and you will not get any refund for such payments. If you have previously accepted the admission offer, A personal information page and registration form will be displayed for you to complete. This form will already contain your Names, your Registration Number, the Course and Department you are admitted to. You will be required to fill your personal information and the Teller Number and Amount you paid.

On arrival at School, attach your current passport photo to the copy of the personal information page you printed and register it at MIS office or Auchi Polytechnic Online Information Office, Bookshop Building.

Note: Ensure that you supply correct information especially your payment details because any false information will incriminate you and you may loose your admission.

6. Print five copies of the Registration form. You will need them for clearance at School.

How to do clearance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Only candidates who have been offered Admission into the Polytechnic for the current session and have completed the online acceptance form and the online registration form are eligible to do clearance on resumption at school. Once you have complete the online acceptance and registration, print 4 (four) sets of the registration form and the personal information page. Get 4 (four) office flat files from the bookshop and enclose each set. Write your names and registration number on these clearance files and, follow the steps below to do clearance.

1. Ensure that you drop a copy of the Personal Information Sheet with your current passport photo attached at MIS Office or Auchi Polytechnic Online Information Service Office (Bookshop Building)

2. Attach your current passport photo to each copy of the forms and enclose the following to each set:

  • photocopies of payment tellers and receipts
  • photocopies of credentials
  • photocopies of birth certificate or age declaration
  • a copy each of admission notification slip and acceptance letter you have printed from the Internet.

3. Go to your department with the clearance files and your certificates/credentials for the Head of department's inspection and endorsement. The HOD may designate an adviser to your class to clear you on his behalf, find out from your HOD's office. Having done this,

4. Get the Academic Registrar to inspect your files and endorse them. The Registrar has a representative in your department. Ask for his office and give him your files. Right! 

5. Go to the health center and complete the Medical examination procedures. Your forms will also be endorsed by the Director of Health Services. Congrats!

6. Lastly Go to the Students' Bursary Unit for Bursar's inspection and endorsement. Submit a file each to your department ,academic registrar and Bursary. You can then retain one file for your personal record.

Note: (a) After Matriculation, Your Matriculation Number will be supplied to you through your HOD. or on enquiry, through the Online Information Service Office.

(b) Keep your Registration Access Card securely, you will need it during the session to have access to your academic records and semester/sessional results.

CAUTION!!: Ensure that you complete your clearance as soon as possible. Otherwise, your semester result may be withheld. The Polytechnic is not liable for lost Access Cards. If you misplace your Access Card, report at the Online Information Service Office. You will need to purchase another card so keep it well.

How to pay school fees & register.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Before you pay fees to register, ensure that you have checked your results for the previous session and that you qualify to register for the next class.Once you are sure of the class you are to register for, follow the steps below to register.

1. Consult the School Fees Table to determine the appropriate school fees applicable to you. 

2. Go to any of the Designated Banks to pay the fees applicable to you. 

3 Ensure that you purchase the Registration Access Card for N1,000 from the Bank after paying your school fees. You will require this card for subsequent online transactions.

3. Visit any Cyber Cafe' or any office where you have Internet Access, log on to Auchi Polytechnic Online information Service.

4. From the Home Page, click on Register for 2007/2008 session 

5. Type in your Matriculation Number and your Access Pin Code, then click continue.

Important Notice: (a) Ensure that you type your Matriculation Number correctly. [example: AST/ST/04/1234 means Applied Science & Technology, Statistics, 2004 intake and number 1234] Your matriculation number must follow this format. Typing the wrong matriculation number will render your Access Card invalid.

(b) Your Pin Number is the number you see when you scratch off the covered portion of your Acceptance Access Card.

CAUTION!!: Do not Register for the Next Higher class EXCEPT you have met the requirements for that class. Check your results or clarify from your Examination Officer if you are in doubt. Also ensure that you type the correct Matriculation Number. If you type in the wrong Matriculation Number, Your card will be invalidated and you will have to re-purchase an Access Card. 

6. A personal information page and registration form will be displayed for you to complete. You will be required to fill your personal information and the Teller Number and Amount you paid. Then carefully complete the Course registration form.

7. Click submit. 

On arrival at School, attach your current passport photo to the copy of the personal information page you printed and register it at MIS office or Auchi Polytechnic Online Information Office, Bookshop Building.

Note: Ensure that you supply correct information especially your payment details because any false information will incriminate you and you will be sanctioned .

8. Print five copies of the Registration form. You will need them for clearance at School.

How to do clearance.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is important that all returning students who have completed the online registration forms carry out physical clearance at school. Once you have complete the online registration, print 4 (four) sets of the registration form and the personal information page. Get 4 (four) office flat files from the bookshop and enclose each set. Write your names and registration number on these clearance files and, follow the steps below to do clearance.

How to check your Semester results.

  1. log on to the students online information center
  2. click on check semester results
  3. enter your matriculation number in the specified format
  4. enter your registration scratch card pin code
  5. click on enter/send.
